Aeffe SpA, the parent company of Moschino, confirmed the tragic news in a press release and a statement to The Post. Although details surrounding the cause of death remain unconfirmed, The Daily Front Row reported a heart attack as the alleged reason. Massimo Ferretti, chairman of Aeffe SpA, expressed deep sorrow at the loss, stating, "There are no words to describe the pain we are experiencing at this dramatic time. Davide joined us only a few days ago when a sudden illness took him from us too soon. We still can’t believe what happened."
Davide Renne, a seasoned designer with a rich background, notably spent two decades at Gucci before embarking on his journey with Moschino. His appointment as the successor to Jeremy Scott, the renowned creative force behind Moschino, was announced recently, and he officially assumed the role on November 1. Renne's inaugural collection for Moschino was eagerly anticipated and scheduled to debut at Milan Fashion Week in February of the coming year.

Massimo Ferretti revealed that Renne, in this short period, had garnered love and respect within the luxurious fashion house. "Today we are left with the responsibility of carrying on what his imagination and creativity had only envisioned. Our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends," Ferretti expressed.
