Three days ago, Netflix unveiled the long-awaited announcement of the return of 'Stranger Things' on X (formerly known as Twitter). Season 1 aired in 2016 to rave reviews, and now it’s said that the series will return for its last and final season in 2025. According to Variety, “There aren’t any shots of Millie Bobby Brown with any of the other cast, but Brown does remark that the show has spanned ten years of her life.”

Brown, now just twenty years old, is married and, according to fans, expecting her first child with husband Jake Bongiovi. Sources close to the star tell She’s SINGLE, “Millie is telling only friends and family that she’s pregnant.” While there’s been no official announcement, many of her fans, since the announcement of Season five, have taken to her socials to point out what they suspect to be a growing baby bump.

Some of the comments read, “If you are pregnant too, congratulations in advance,” while someone else says, “Baby???” On the other hand, many of her fans responded to the allegations, one in particular saying, “Millie is not pregnant or anything, don’t be ridiculous, it is natural that she has gained weight. Not everyone has to be skinny. Do not keep writing that she is pregnant.”

At just twenty years old, it’s not uncommon for celebrities to get pregnant. Take Kylie Jenner, for example, who at twenty kept her pregnancy with baby Stormi a secret from the public. It’s not the pregnancy that’s got people talking; it’s the age. Brown gives off old soul vibes, so while it may not be shocking that she’s in the headspace of having children and being married, it’s not common in 2024.

Even with Nara Smith, who, after learning she is only 22 with three kids and a husband, many of her fans have expressed concern. Being a young mother, in hindsight, is cool, considering you still have a fast metabolism, so your body will snap back quicker. You’ll get the kids out of the way and can focus on other things. Plus, you get to raise your kids with more energy and time versus being an older parent. We get it. But for stars who are in the public eye, perhaps this isn’t something we should normalize.

When speculations began to swirl about Kylie’s pregnancy, many celebs took to their platforms to remind teenagers and young girls that there is a stark difference between them and a Kardashian/Jenner: money. With Brown, it’s no different. With acting credits, producer credits, and two successful businesses under her belt, money is of no object to the young star.

But even so, do we believe that once a celebrity takes on the title of public figure, they should be more conscious of their actions as they are role models, even against their choosing? Yes, because one can have riches without fame, and when you choose to chase fame, you are accepting the responsibilities that come with it. America thrives on escapism and relatability.

Because the dollar is held in such high regard, many people who cannot afford to live luxurious lives or dream big are looking up to celebrities. It’s important to take into account that as entertainers, a key part of entertaining is relevance. To stay relevant, you have to be relatable. If your teenage fans can no longer find you relatable, they’ll do one of two things: toss you aside and stop supporting you, or emulate your actions.
