Was the Psychic...right?
by Kyla Cruz
‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ is no doubt one of the juiciest franchises and with the recent announcement of the split between Kyle Richards and her husband of 27 years, Mauricio Umansky we’re going to tell you why it just got even juicier. Let’s take a trip down memory lane back to a time when Camille invited her Psychic friend to dinner…do you remember her? No.
Allison, sat adjacent to Camille when the banter began between her and Kyle before dinner could ensue. The ladies were skeptical of her, taunting both Allison and Camille in their cut-away confessional scenes. But it wasn’t until Kyle asked for her reading to which Allison took a smug pull of her cigarette, “Oh my God, but what I want to tell you might be irritating to you…so…” to which Kyle responds, “Tell me, I don’t care.”

The ladies go about this for a bit, until finally, Allison says, “Have you been married twice?”
Kyle responds, “Uh huh.”
“Well, that’s the last one you will have,” Allison laughs. “I guess that’s good news. I was thinking she was gonna have to get married again, which meant you’d have a divorce.”
Kyle then says, “If my husband ever leaves me I’m going with him.”
Allison replies, “He will never emotionally fulfill you; ever, know that. But you will stay with him and he will take care of you and as soon as the kids are bigger you’ll have nothing in common.”
Many of us have begun to speculate that the reason for the divorce is perhaps due to a disconnect in their marriage with on TikToker pointing out the lack of photos with Kyle and Mauricio on her Instagram page. Kyle also did not wish her husband a Happy Birthday, on June 25th which is unlike her according to her past posts and behavior on the photo app.
For Father’s Day, however, Kyle noticeably did post her darling husband careful to leave out any mention of her and their marriage—the usual, “I love you” were visibly missing. Instead, Kyle chose to primarily focus on Mauricio as a father to their children and the provider that he is.
The couple shares three daughters: Alexia Simone, 27, Sophia Kylie, 23; and Portia, 15. Richards’ oldest daughter, Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie, 34, was both when the actress-turned-reality TV star was married to Guraish Aldjufrie from 1988 to 1992.
According to People, a source close to the pair says, “Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof. They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.”
Of course, this maybe a storyline for the next season of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’, but we don’t know, are the cameras around to catch the scoop? When we think of housewives' divorces, of course, that of Kim Zolciak comes to mind…but unlike the Umansky family things between the Biermanns seem to have taken a head, and their arguments and calls to law enforcement only continue to increase. We never want to hear of a couple splitting, especially when there are kids involved no matter how grown. But of course, everyone has to do what is best for them and their happiness overall.
We hope both Kyle and Mauricio can work things out and at least remain friends, they were after all—up to a certain point—a well-liked couple on the show. Although things are pretty quiet for now, we will continue to keep you updated.
