One Single Zodiac Series: Taurus Men Bad Traits

by Danielle Wright

Taurus men, born between April 20 and May 20, are often regarded as loyal, practical, reliable, and sensual.

When things ended between me and my Taurus, I was devastated—so much so that I went down a rabbit hole of understanding the seven stages of a twin flame journey. Yes, y’all, I thought this man was my twin flame. But he wasn’t that. I was just blinded by the bull—and I mean bulls**t. Here’s the thing: Taurus men are great at manipulating women and getting their way.

They have an innocence to them, a charm, a way of making you feel like the only woman in the world, all to milk you dry of everything and anything. Celebrity Taurus men who are simply diabolical when it comes to dating, and have a proven track record of being emotionally, mentally, or physically abusive towards women, include Meek Mill, Chris Brown, Cam Newton, DJ Akademiks, and even 6ix9ine (“six-nine”) to name a few.

The common thread here is that many Taurus men are womanizers and have an insatiable appetite for feminine energy. It’s not uncommon for a Taurus to cheat—so that part about loyalty? Please, we must stop spreading those lies. They are sensual beings and love beautiful women, but along with her beauty, she must also be successful! Taurus men are no strangers to asking women for money or help—they have no shame, literally.

If they need money for food and you have it, they’re going to ask. Heck, even if you don’t have it, they’re still going to ask. And once the well runs dry (i.e., your pockets), they’re onto the next. They value loyalty from their partners but are not great at reciprocating those expectations. You should be available to him, but he’s most likely going to prioritize his homeboys and flirt with women wherever he goes. But you see, his flirtatious nature is linked to his need to access women and their resources.

For example, when I dated a Taurus, he would go to parties and clubs and flirt with women just to pull from their hookahs. It was never anything more than that. He didn’t ask for their number or take them on dates—it was just for their resources. Will she buy him a drink? Will she have hookah at the table? Will she make herself available to take him home if he doesn’t have a ride?

A Taurus is excellent at pooling resources so he can hold onto his own—they are not too fond of sharing. If you want this zodiac sign to show interest and buy you things or invest in you financially, you need to be able to stand your ground. It’s not hard for this man to turn on the charm and get women to invest in him emotionally and monetarily because he’s the so-called "nice guy," the one who will show up for your events and be there to spend your birthday with you—he’s the epitome of the "for a good time call" guy.
