'Nobody Can Love Jennifer Lopez as Much as Jennifer Lopez': Divorce Rumors from Ben Affleck Continue to Swirl

As the divorce rumors continue to heat up between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, one can't help but wonder, "Is there anyone who can love Jennifer Lopez more than Jennifer Lopez?"

It may come as a surprise to many that she's once again getting a divorce, and not only that, she's divorcing Affleck, who first became engaged to her in November 2002. Sadly, they called off the wedding four days before the planned date in 2003, citing "excessive media attention" as the reason behind the postponement and/or split.


We can understand the issue with being in the spotlight as Ben has repeatedly said that he does not like media attention and paparazzi being so involved in his personal life. He is often photographed looking exasperated and displeased by their presence. But we all know Lopez for being in the spotlight, especially during the ‘Jenny from the Block’ era, which was a time when Lopez was only growing into an established household name. So, is it that Jennifer can't keep a man or a man can't keep her?


RELATIONSHIPS AND BREAKUPS

Her relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs came to an end due to his rumored cheating, and now, with all of the lawsuits coming to a head against the music mogul, we can only imagine just how tumultuous the relationship could have been. Marc Anthony is also a relationship worth mentioning for Lopez considering they were married and share two beautiful children together.


However, allegations of physical abuse against Lopez were shared by personal assistants and bystanders. Next, Alex Rodriguez (AROD) proposed to Lopez in March 2019, but by 2021 the pair had split amid cheating allegations. So, we ask, would you stay with a partner who is physically abusive or cheating on you for the sake of being married? While it’s no secret that Lopez loves love, she is not afraid to walk away.


She will happily skip from one relationship to the next, and sure, this can be seen as having some internal issues with loneliness, and one can also argue that she is not choosing her partners wisely, but even as a non-celebrity, don’t we get it wrong also? One thing that’s undeniable and commendable is that Lopez epitomizes letting go of what no longer serves her, much like Lori Harvey and Kim Kardashian. When are men ever held accountable?


Affleck seems to abhor media attention, even though he is well aware that Lopez is a hard-working celeb who rarely slows down and needs to be in the spotlight to maintain her relevance. Cameras must flash, and the paparazzi must be called. When dating Ana De Armas in 2020, the movie stars were often spotted taking strolls outside, laughing and enjoying each other's company.


However, Armas did not want to be based in LA, whereas Affleck had no choice, considering his kids reside there. But that's not all—Armas also cited that their relationship was just too public—she values a more quiet and peaceful life. Sounds familiar? So, if Ben and Armas share the same sentiments regarding their privacy, why couldn’t they make it work? Why return to a superstar celeb like Jennifer Lopez and appear miserable in all of your unrehearsed pap photos with her?


Now, as a whole, we’re coming down so hard on JLo, yet sometimes it’s okay to hold men accountable. Ben is no saint after all. This isn’t a pro-Jennifer Lopez rant, but it’s something to think about when men and women seem to have so much commentary on their relationship, and it all seems to be spears pointed in her direction alone.


We should also acknowledge that she recently canceled her tour to make some time in her schedule to spend with her family. One can only wonder, will there ever be a woman good enough for Ben? He cheats on his quiet, reserved wife with the nanny, breaks off his relationship with co-star Armas due to his location being a non-negotiable (which we get, he has kids), but the media attention is something he could control, and he didn’t.


Lastly, he goes back to his ex, knowing she’s a workaholic and needs the media to push her projects—something he claims to hate. Ben is confused, and the women in his life seem to be the ones suffering at the hands of his perplexed lifestyle choices. No one can love Jennifer Lopez as much as Jennifer Lopez, and we hope, for the sake of her sanity, it stays that way.
