The 43-year-old singer seemingly collapsed on the side of the stage, and a crew member quickly ushered her away and into an ambulance, according to fans on social media platform X.
Reports suggest that Monica left the venue in an ambulance after passing out near the stairs, and some attendees noted that something felt amiss during the concert. She's SINGLE reached out to Monica's representatives for comment, but as of now, there has been no response, leaving the incident's details unclear.
Monica has been candid about her health challenges, particularly mitral valve prolapse, a condition she has dealt with since her tour at the age of 18. The condition occurs when the heart's upper and lower chambers' flap doesn't close properly.
In a 2016 interview with the Huffington Post, Monica shared an episode where she was performing "Angel of Mine" in Washington D.C. and began losing consciousness. She described the experience, saying, "Everything in front of me basically began to go from color to black-and-white, fading in and out." She walked to the side of the stage, seeking help, and collapsed into the arms of one of her staff members. Monica has faced hospitalization in the past due to high blood pressure and endometriosis.

The mother of three, including sons Rodney and Romelo from her relationship with ex-fiancé Rodney 'Rocko' Hill, has been resilient. She underwent a month-long hospitalization to determine the cause of a previous incident related to her heart valve condition. Monica resumed touring after recovering and is scheduled for performances over the next two months. Additionally, she is a mother to a 10-year-old daughter named Laiyah, shared with ex-husband NBA star Shannon Brown, from whom she filed for divorce in March 2019.
