While the news may come as a surprise to many, the former couple's statement revealed that this decision was made to prioritize their individual paths and give their undivided attention to personal growth and careers. The statement also emphasized the importance of remaining friends and parting on amicable terms, with love and respect for the time they spent together.

Lori Harvey, known for her past Instagram posts celebrating her relationship with Damson Idris, has since removed any trace of him from her social media account. While the couple has decided to go their separate ways, it's clear that they still hold a deep regard for each other.

Lori Harvey and Damson Idris initially sparked romance rumors in January, with the actor sharing an Instagram Stories post that featured a sweet moment of him kissing Harvey on the cheek. This public display of affection was followed by their joint celebration of Lori Harvey's 26th birthday in a star-studded event, a clear testament to the couple's connection.

A month later, they made their red carpet debut as a couple in Los Angeles at the premiere of the sixth and final season of "Snowfall," where their affection for each other was evident to onlookers. For the following months, their relationship seemed to be filled with joy and happiness.

Notably, prior to her relationship with Damson Idris, Lori Harvey dated actor Michael B. Jordan. Interestingly, Harvey had mentioned her desire to focus on herself in an interview with Essence Magazine in December. She emphasized the importance of self-love, self-care, and self-reflection and expressed a desire to be a little more selfish with her time.

"This moment is about me," she noted. "I feel like it's always been [about] me attached to something or someone. This time, it's about me. Self-love, self-care, self-reflection. I'm being a little selfish right now. It's my time."
