The artist formerly known as Kanye West, who now goes by Ye, has revealed the first Yeezy shoe produced since Adidas ended their partnership last year due to a series of antisemitic statements.
Ye shared a link on his X social media page, unveiling the "YZY POD" foldable sock shoe with the caption, "Our first product since liberation from Adidas goes on presale today, $200 at yeezy.com. Accept no imitations."
This product launch coincides with another scandal involving the outspoken entertainer. Recent footage obtained by TMZ showed the 46-year-old going on a 10-minute rant in Las Vegas, during which he made offensive remarks, including lashing out at Jews.

In the video, he shouted, "Jesus Christ, Hitler, Ye! Sponsor that!" and ranted about "Zionist Jews" owning banks and hospitals in Los Angeles. "It’s 60 million of us in America, 60 million Jews in the world," he yelled, later adding, "I don’t give a f-ck." Notably, the actual estimated population of black people in the US is around 46 million, and the global Jewish population is approximately 16 million.
Before October of the previous year, Ye had a successful career in fashion and design, including a lucrative partnership with Adidas. However, his celebrity status began to unravel after controversial incidents, such as wearing a shirt that read "White Lives Matter" at a Paris fashion show and making antisemitic remarks on social media. Brands like Balenciaga and Adidas severed ties with Ye, causing a significant drop in his net worth, approximately $1.5 billion.

Ye continued to make bizarre statements, including expressing positive views about Hitler during an interview on Alex Jones' show. His suspension from Twitter came after posting an image of a swastika inside a Star of David, leading to Elon Musk, the new owner of the platform (now known as X), citing a violation of terms of service. The rapper's recent unveiling of the YZY POD shoe marks his first product since parting ways with Adidas, signaling a new chapter in his career.
