How to Attract Love Energy

by Danielle Wright

To all my spiritual girlies, this one is for you.

When it comes to love, many of us don’t want to throw in the towel just yet because, let’s face it, we don’t have to. Sure, social media may have many thinking that you need to be a "sprinkle, sprinkle girlie" or a woman who does Pilates and frequents bars on Wall Street alone to get a man to ask you on a date.

However, the reality is you simply need to be yourself. The real conquest is becoming a better version of yourself to attract the person you seek. When you stop looking, love will find you. Yes, I know that’s cliché, but there’s so much more to it. You see, the law of attraction works like this: positive thoughts bring positive results.

Energy manifests itself, which is why when you meditate, pray, or even listen to tarot readings from qualified psychic mediums, they always express to you that the first thing you should practice is gratitude. While many tarot readers are scam artists looking for a quick payday—mainly any of the ones you find on TikTok—there are some tried-and-true individuals with genuine gifts they share with the general public.

So, it’s not that they’re lying when they say things are changing for your life and abundance is flowing; it’s the simple act of manifestation. Have you ever listened to a reading and heard, “That person on your mind”? Well, that’s their way of helping you manifest that person, and in some cases, the person usually ends up reaching out to you at some point or another.

Granted, if you’re hearing the same tarot readings over and over again without any change, then it’s safe to say that the universe is not ready to bring you and your person back together, or for you to meet your new person yet. You still have shadow work that needs to be done, or that person is simply not the right one for you, and that’s okay!

Do not give your power away to tarot readings. Instead, focus your attention on the present moment and the things you want to accomplish. Perhaps you want to learn a new language, educate yourself on how to be a better partner or spouse, or even earn more income. There’s always something you could be doing to expand both your knowledge and wealth.

The real power is in your ability to believe that whatever is for you will never pass you by. As we shape our destinies, we still have some semblance of control even though we are guided by the Holy Spirit. Focus on the things you can change and learn to accept the things you cannot. This can take on many forms, especially in today’s climate where everything costs an arm and a leg, and there are so many obligations required of us. While love is not a distraction from our day-to-day problems, it’s something to look forward to, hence keeping a positive mindset.

If you think about it, misery loves company. Unless you’re looking for someone who is down bad, an irascible complainer, a user, or an abuser, you need to check your thoughts at the door and take some time to re-shift your energy. People tend to attract others who are similar to them, but it also suggests that people’s thoughts tend to attract similar results.

Negative thinking is believed to attract negative experiences, while positive thinking is believed to produce desirable experiences. It can be hard to think positively when you’re three months behind on rent or you can’t afford school clothes for your kids, but guess what? There are a plethora of resources available to assist you, and you should never feel ashamed when utilizing them. No matter what you’re going through, you can find a solution by simply searching online or asking your friends and family.

Another thing to consider is what you’re taking in online. If you’re an avid social media user and your content is filled with women who complain about relationships, past partners, their livelihood, etc., you will begin to absorb that energy. It can skew your thoughts, change your frequency, and attract what you do not want.

The present is always perfect; that is a law that focuses on the idea that there are always things you can do to improve the present moment. While it might always seem like the present is somehow flawed, this law proposes that, rather than feeling dread or unhappiness, you should focus your energy on finding ways to make the present moment the best that it can be. In other words, trick yourself into believing that whatever is going wrong is actually going right. Your mind can shape your future; all you have to do is believe.

When it comes to love, it can be hard to escape the dark baby daddy content, the Shera content, or even the men who pander to women, seemingly appearing to be the “good guys” giving advice. Listen, none of that matters. If there weren't a check involved, these people would not be sharing this “advice” to help put you up on game. They would laugh with their friends and continue to bash women for their decisions. They are only giving the illusion of help because there is an incentive involved that does not equate to sex.

Men do not help women they do not know or like, and this includes advice. Men are selfish and have to get something to give something, so always take that advice with a grain of salt. Otherwise, your perception of the opposite sex will be skewed, and you’ll spend your days attracting negative or other jaded energy. Why do you think sprinkle sprinkle girls attract drizzle drizzle men? It’s all about the law of attraction.

So, the next time you see a woman complaining about a man she’s dating or has been seeing for a while, ask yourself, what type of energy does she give off to have attracted such a man? No one on the internet is who or what they claim to be. Many people are creating content for engagement—it’s a job. Your best interest is not at the forefront, and they are no different than the Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerbergs of the world.

Find and engage only with positive content that is not agenda-driven, align yourself with it, change your mindset, and watch how quickly you manifest the life and love of your dreams.
