With a fiery passion for music since she was young, Jiah is proving that hard work pays off and dreams are meant to come true. With her soulful blend of pop, hip-hop, and R&B, polished vocals, and deep-cutting lyrics, Jiah resonates with her listeners and tells her story. Growing up, Jiah had musical influences all around her in her family.

Her sister, in particular, is a producer and would often play the piano, which Jiah would emulate. “That fire was always inside me since I was a kid to pursue music, and once I got old enough, I just took off with it for real. I’ve always loved Rihanna since I was a child and just loved the idea of being a superstar, just like her.”

The young star has built her career from the ground up and won’t stop anytime soon. She’s nothing short of a go-getter who aims to inspire and lift up others. Paving your way into the music industry is never easy, and Jiah is all too familiar with making sacrifices and putting her blood, sweat, and tears into her craft.

“I make sacrifices every day for my career, and I don’t regret anything because this is the life I chose. Being an artist isn’t easy, and I knew this getting into it, but it’s my passion. Therefore, I’m willing to make whatever sacrifices I have to make to make this a career I can live off of, as well as inspire others by doing it.”

So how does the talented visionary try to stand out in today’s climate? By focusing on herself. “I also think the more I create, the more I find myself and things about myself that make me stand out. I’m human and still growing as a person, but so is my music and my brand. As long as I’m being authentic with everything I do, I can never worry about not standing out. Standing out is inevitable when it’s truly authentic, in my opinion.”

Paving your way in the music industry is certainly not an easy task. There are always challenges that come with trying to make it in an industry with a multitude of emerging artists looking to be the next big thing. However, Jiah’s authenticity, work ethic, and ambition set her apart from the rest.

Her optimism and self-starter attitude are exceedingly inspiring, especially in a world where people seek to tear others down. “People are so quick to downplay or instill fear in your plans when you’re aiming to do something as big as being one of the biggest global superstars, but I’m built for it. I wish people would stop downplaying people’s big dreams and plans.”
